A Doll's House the Sequel

For our action project, we had to read A Dolls House by Henrik Ibsen. Then we had to find influential people specifically women then we had to make a script with those women talking to Nora the main character from a Doll's House and record it being acted out. The theme for the second unit was looking at gender roles portrayed in plays I chose Elizabeth Schyler who was Alexander Hamilton’s wife and founded the first private orphanage in New York City. I also chose Margret Singer who co-founded what is now the Planned Parent Hood association. In conclusion, The project was really fun I enjoyed working on writing a script and found the filming part difficult but overall it was fun. w

Lasers by the River

What could you do to help the environment? I chose to do a laser light show with music next to the Chicago River to show my neighborhood how they are affecting the planet. I wanted to do it in an interesting way which includes lasers and music. As far as I know, no one has done this before, and I think it would be interesting to see lasers showing the impact that we have on the planet along with a song that talks about climate change. My idea for something I can do for my block would be putting on a performance with music and lights and maybe some visuals at night. The music I'm going to be playing Is Billie Elish’s All The Good Girls Go to Hell . If I wanted to do this I might need some lights, a laser light projector, a projector screen, and speakers. I would show images of plants, animals, and damage to the environment. I think it will help my neighborhood because it will show how beautiful nature is and why we should strive to protect it. It would be a good thing for people

The hero's journey

For this action project, we have to depict a hero’s journey with a character from any form of media. I chose one of the main characters from a new movie called Rons gone wrong. The character I choose is Barney who has to go through hardships such as having no friends and being bullied when he gets a defective robot who becomes his best friend he wants to help him. The company that created the robot want him back. Barney’s climax in the story is when he breaks into the headquarters of the company and saves the robot.
