Colon Cancer

 For this class we are suposed to find a type of desease   that effects us or our family.  Cancer is when a group of cells multiply uncontrollably. Most of the time you can get it treated either by surgery or chemotherapy which is pounding it with radiation. There are multiple types of cancer such as breast cancer, lung cancer, etc. Cancer can be serious and can sometimes lead to death. Cancer most of the time is genetic but smoking, and getting exposed to a lot of radiation unprotected can give you cancer. My nana had an aggressive form of colon cancer. She had surgery but still died two weeks later. Two of my nana’s sisters had breast cancer, and pancreas cancer. They also both died due to the cancer. My nana’s cancer was the size of my fist. She had a specific gene mutation that made the cancer very aggressive.
